I'm a software engineer and technical founder with more than a decade of experience building backend systems, data platforms, and analytics products. I enjoy solving complex problems where engineering, data, and product intersect.
Over the years I've worked on everything from large-scale data pipelines and distributed systems to performance optimization and cost reduction. I enjoy both digging into the technical details and stepping back to design systems that can scale reliably over time.
I've also had the opportunity to lead engineering teams and work closely with product and business stakeholders to turn complex ideas into real systems that people depend on every day.
When I’m not solving engineering problems, you’ll usually find me looking toward the sky. Astronomy has been a lifelong passion of mine, and whenever conditions are right, I’m out imaging planets or capturing deep-sky objects through my telescope. I’m also a lifelong storm enthusiast, having spent the past 25 years tracking severe weather across the Midwest. Today, I share that passion through live storm chases, bringing viewers along to experience storms in real time while helping them stay informed and ahead of the weather.
